The history of osteopathic medicine in Wisconsin begins in September 1893. In that year, Wisconsin shared honors with Minnesota in having Dr. Charlie Still, oldest son of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of osteopathic medicine, introduce the new science.
